Indie pop duo She & Him — featuring Zooey Deschanel — is coming to Paso Robles

The indie pop duo She & Him, featuring Zooey Deschanel and Matt Ward, will usher in summer with a performance at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles.

The pair is performing here as part of their “Melt Away” tour, billed as a tribute to Brian Wilson, on Wednesday, June 22, at 8 p.m., according to a news release from Nederlander Concerts.

“Matt and Zooey make music for an eternal springtime, when the temperature is warm enough to go riding with the top (or at least the windows) rolled down and the radio turned up,” according to the release.

Best known as a TV and movie actress, Zooey Deschanel has starred in the television series “New Girl,” as well as films like “500 Days of Summer” and “Elf.”

Tickets are priced at $40-$59.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 1 on Ticketmaster.

Also coming to Vina Robles

Vina Robles has also announced several other new bookings in recent weeks.

Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Jason Mraz, with Raining Jane, will perform on Tuesday, July 5, in celebration of “Lalalalovesongs,” his collection of iconic ballads released earlier this year. Ticket are $50-$110.50.

Banda MS De Sergio Lizárraga returns to Vina Robles with its “Gracias a Ti” Tour, Friday, July 15. Tickets are $75-$160.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan will perform as part of “The Fun Tour’” on Friday, Aug. 12. Tickets are $65-$150.

On Saturday, Aug. 20, multi-platinum Atlanta rockers Collective Soul will perform at the amphitheatre with Switchfoot. Tickets are $45-$79.50.

On Wednesday, Sept. 14 , Interpol and Spoon will bring their “Lights, Camera, Factions” tour to the Central Coast, with opener The Goon Sax. Tickets are $39.50-$55.

As part of a summer tour, Flogging Molly and The Interrupters will include a stop at Vina Robles on Wednesday, Sept. 21, with Tiger Army and The Skints. Tickets are $45-$65.

And Incubus, with special guest Animals as Leaders, will play Vina Robles on Thursday, Oct. 6. Tickets are $49-$125.
