Lineup of upcoming concerts announced for 2 Paso Robles venues. Here’s who’s coming
The Mid-State Fair and Vina Robles Amphitheatre have announced a variety of musical acts coming here for concerts in the next few months.
Tickets are now on sale for Phoebe Bridgers, ZZ Top, an ‘80s rock tour and more. Here’s a look at the latest bookings.
May 29: ZZ Top
ZZ Top will perform at Vina Robles on Sunday, May 29, at 8 p.m. as part of their Raw Whisky Tour ahead of their new album titled “RAW,” being released July 22. Tickets range from $55 to $115.
July 15: Banda MS De Sergio Lizárraga
Tickets went on sale Friday for Banda MS De Sergio Lizárraga’s concert at Vina Robles on Friday, July 15, at 8 p.m.
Considered “one of the most influential regional Mexican bands,” according to a news release, the band began with brothers Sergio and Alberto Lizárraga from Mazatlán, Sinaloa. Banda MS holds 18 Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Top Latin Album and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year awards in 2020.
Ticket prices range from $75 to $160.
July 25: ‘Live to Rock’ ’80s metal tour
The California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles is hosting a “Live to Rock” tour on Monday, July 25, at 7:30 p.m. All performances will take place in the Chumash Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center, with tickets priced at $20, $30 and $50.
Performing as part of the show will be Skid Row, Warrant, Quiet Riot and Kip Winger Unplugged.
Aug. 27: Phoebe Bridgers
Los Angeles indie singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers will perform at Vina Robles on Saturday, Aug. 27, as part of her Reunion Tour this year. Verified Fan Presale opened Thursday. Bridger’s hits include the 2017 song “Motion Sickness,” and she was featured on Taylor Swift’s newly released song, “Nothing New.” Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are 54.50.
According to a news release, $1 of every headline show ticket sold will be donated to The Mariposa Fund, which helps pay for undocumented people trying to receive reproductive health services, including abortion.
