It’s Mid-State Fair season! See who is on the Grandstand and how to get tickets
The California Mid-State Fair is expected to officially kick off next week, bringing with it a whole slate of acts — from country stars to monster trucks — set to perform on the annual event’s largest stage.
Performances at the Grandstand Arena will go from July 16 to 27, and tickets for all shows are currently on sale at midstatefair.com.
Prices vary for each event, and ticket sales range from $30-$150, while some tickets for exclusive access cost more, according to the fair’s website. Shows at the Grandstand Arena do not include admissions to the fair.
Here is a final list of those performing at the Grandstand Arena and what to expect for each event:
Flo Rida, July 16
The rapper, singer and songwriter Flo Rida will be at the Grandstand Arena on Wednesday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. to kick off the first night of the fair.
Some of Flo Rida’s hit songs include “Good Feeling,” “My House,” “Low,” and many more. An American rapper from Florida, Flo Rida released his breakout single “Low” in 2007, which remained number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 10 weeks, his artist profile on Billboard’s website says.
Flo Rida is expected to perform with a special guest, though that is yet to be announced, according to the Mid-State Fair website.

Jon Pardi, July 17
Jon Pardi will be joined by special guest Callie Twisselman at the Grandstand Arena on Thursday, July 17, at 7:30 p.m. The country artist has hit songs like “Head Over Boots” and “Dirt On My Boots.”
He previously was on tour promoting his latest album, “Honkytonk Hollywood.”
As of Friday, tickets ranged between $58 and $84 for standard admission, though verified resale tickets were also available at higher prices. Tickets can be bought here.
311, July 18
311 will be playing alongside special guest Iration on Friday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m.
The band has performed for over 30 years, moving through genres like rock fusion, reggae and funk, the Mid-State fair website says.
Originally from Nebraska, 311 continues to perform and release music with its latest EP, “90s Throwback EP: Vol 1” that includes live performances from the ‘90s.

Cody Johnson, July 19
Cody Johnson will perform with special guest Randall King on Saturday, July 19, at 7:30pm.
The country artist has hit songs “’Til You Can’t,” “I’m Gonna Love You, Ft. Carrie Underwood,” and “The Painter,” his Billboard artist profile says.

Viva La Quebradita, July 20
Viva La Quebradita will perform at the Mid-State Fair on Sunday, July 20, at 7:30 p.m.
Three regional Mexican bands will be feature at the event: El Mexicano, Arkangel R-15 and Ezequiel Peña Jr. y Su Vallarta.

Red Clay Strays, July 21
The Red Clay Strays will perform on Monday, July 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Mid-State Fair with special guest Kaitlin Butts.
The band originated in Alabama, and features a blend of rock, soul and country, the Mid-State Fair website said. It’s performed in front of audiences on “The Tonight Show, with Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “CBS Saturday Morning.”

David Lee Roth, July 22
David Lee Roth, former lead vocalist of the band Van Halen, will be performing alongside G. Love and Special Sauce on Tuesday, July 22, at 7:30 p.m.
Roth’s contribution to the ‘80s rock band produced songs like “Jump,” “Panama,” and “Runnin’ with the Devil.”

Bailey Zimmerman, July 23
Bailey Zimmerman will perform alongside special guests Dylan Marlowe and Drew Baldridge on Wednesday, July 23, at 7:30 p.m.
The country artist has hit songs like “Rock and a Hard Place” and “Fall in Love.”

Keith Urban, July 24
Keith Urban will perform at the Mid-State fair with special guests Chase Matthews, Alana Springsteen and Karley Scott Collins on Thursday, July 24, at 7 p.m.
The country artist has won three Grammy awards and produced over 10 billion streams, the Mid-State Fair website said.
Keith Urban is currently on his “High and Alive World Tour,” which includes a stop in Paso Robles.

An evening of music and wine with Don Felder of the Eagles, July 25
Don Felder, former lead guitarist of the Eagles, will be performing his set, “An Evening of Music and Wine,” on Friday, July 25, at 7:30 p.m.
Felder helped produce popular songs for the Eagles rock band such as “Hotel California” and “Victim of Love.”

805 Country Rodeo Finals, July 26
The 805 Country Rodeo Finals will be held at the Grandstand Arena on Saturday, July 26. at 7 p.m.
The rodeo final will feature events and competitions like match roping, team penning, double mugging, barrel racing and breakaway roping.
Tickets for the rodeo were $40 for all ages, reserved seating and day-of purchases, $30 for general admission adults (age 13+) and $25 for youth general admission (ages 3 to 12). They can be purchased here.
Monster Truck Takeover, July 27
The Monster Truck Takeover will close out the Mid-State fair on Sunday, July 27 at 7 p.m.
The event will showcase contests such as Best Trick, Side-by-Side Racing, and No Rules Freestyle.
Tickets for the Monster Truck Takeover were $35 for all ages, reserved seating and day-of purchases, $25 for general admission adults (age 13+) and $20 for youth general admission (ages 3 to 12). They can be purchased here.
