Monster trucks, rodeo return to close out Mid-State Fair. How to get tickets
Two popular events will be riding and rolling the night away to wrap up the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles this July.
The 805 Country Rodeo Finals and the Monster Truck Takeover return to the Chumash Grandstand Arena on the final weekend, the fair said in a news release. The Mid-State Fair runs from July 16-27.
Tickets for both events go on sale beginning Tuesday, June 24, at 10 a.m.
The rodeo finals will take place on Saturday, July 26, at 7 p.m. featuring events like match roping, team penning, double mugging, barrel racing and breakaway roping, to name a few, from some of the top cowboys and cowgirls.
Tickets and seating for the rodeo final can be found at www.midstatefair.com and start at $30 for general admission and $25 for children 3-12 years old. Reserved seating and “day-of-show” tickets for all ages go for $40.
The Monster Truck Takeover will feature notable trucks including Hillbilly, Double Trouble and Monster Moose. The monster trucks will be competing for the best trick, along with “side-by-side racing” and “no rules freestyle.” The event will take place on Sunday, July 27, at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the monster truck show start at $25 for general admission, $20 for children, and $35 for reserved and “day-of-show” tickets.
