‘ADORABLE little town.’ TV host Chris Hardwick visits Cambria Christmas Market

Television host, actor and podcaster Chris Hardwick is raving about the Cambria Christmas Market after a recent visit.

He shared photos of his trip to the European-style Christmas market via Instagram on Dec. 8.

“Our annual holiday trek to @cambriachristmasmarket was another smashing success!” Hardwick wrote in his caption. “Amazing group of friends and millions of light scenes to light that holiday fire in your guts.”

The “Talking Dead” host credited his wife, Lydia Hearst, with starting a “traditional trip” to Cambria in 2018. She joined Hardwick on the trip, along with friends including photographer Tyler Shields and “Star Trek: The Next Generation” actor Wil Wheaton.

Hardwick even shared a photo of himself kissing Hearst, great-granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst, inside the market’s popular lighted tunnel.

Hardwick was effusive in his praise for Cambria, calling it “an ADORABLE little town to visit” with “fantastic antiquing.” “10/10 would light show there again,” he wrote.

Hardwick isn’t the only celebrity to visit the Central Coast in recent days.

“Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to share photos and videos from her visit to San Luis Obispo County, which included stops at San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre, Gopher Glen Organic Apple Farm in Avila Beach and the Piedras Blancas elephant seal rookery near San Simeon.

She also enjoyed some sweet treats at Brown Butter Cookie Co., although it’s not clear which location she visited.
