Columnist Tom Fulks can’t or won’t keep his word

dmiddlecamp@thetribunenews.com

In Tom Fulks’ first commentary, he indicated that he was going to make every effort to write his commentaries without resorting to inflammatory terms, but that only lasted one commentary. In his latest work (“Trump supporters are showing their true colors”), published March 27, he uses the following terms: “crawling from under your rocks,” “crawled from under your rocks,” (apparently he couldn’t think of another contentious phrase), “to yak up your hairballs of violent political rhetoric,” “despot and his henchmen” and lastly, “like those punks.”

It appears Fulks can’t or won’t keep his word and enjoys using demeaning phrases to get his points across. Maybe he should “ponder” his own biases and take a deep breath or take up yoga before he sits down to write his next column.
