Joetopia’s liberal drivel on guns
Congratulations to Joe Tarica (“NRA telemarketer vs. 12-year-old,” Jan. 31). He has raised another liberal Democrat child who is well-versed in the evils contained in the Second Amendment. Perhaps he should also teach him about the evils of the First Amendment when it allows opinions that are opposed to his liberal beliefs.
Apparently Mr. Tarica has taught his son that if you believe in our Constitution and Bill of Rights, you are “right-winging, bitter-clinging” to guns and religion. It is appalling that anyone would teach his child such beliefs.
The NRA is an organization of over 5 million people who enjoy the legal use of firearms for hunting, target practice, collecting, competitive shooting and personal protection, and who adamantly support the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
Mr. Tarica has absolutely no idea that “standards are being applied to weapons today that are far beyond what our founding fathers could have imagined in the days of flintlock muskets,” as he stated in his column Jan. 31. That is simply liberal drivel being espoused by the anti-gun liberals.
