Too much in the balance to not vote Democratic

To my Republican friends, I say thank you for the good sense to not discuss the election with me. To my friends who support Bernie, please show the same good sense. We each have our reasons for which candidate we support. Our hearts are more or less in the same place.

Theres no need to badger me about things that Madeleine Albright said, or to belittle Bill Clinton’s accomplishments in the office, or to remind me that the Republicans are still trying to make more of Hillary’s email server. She has withstood them for over 25 years and is quite good at it. There’s a reason that they are going easy on Bernie — for the time being.

I promise to vote for whichever one gets the Democratic nomination. I hope you guys will do the same. There’s too much in the balance, whether the Republicans choose Donald, Ted or John. Need I repeat that list?

Planned Parenthood, our international allies, the environment, the widening income gap and so on. Antonin Scalia just gave us a great gift. Don’t squander it.
