Grass fire at Topaz Solar Farm in Santa Margarita contained

Crews contained a grass fire at 24 acres on Topaz Solar Farm in Santa Margarita on Sunday afternoon, according to a Cal Fire spokeswoman.

The vegetation fire began about 1:40 p.m. and was contained at 3:45 p.m., the spokeswoman said. She wasn’t aware of any damages to buildings and said there were no injuries from the fire.

Cal Fire and San Luis Obispo County Fire responded to the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, the spokeswoman said.
