SLO Superior Court clerks' hours to be cut for staff training
To accommodate staff training for a new case-management system, the San Luis Obispo Superior Court will have limited hours for the clerks’ office and telephone lines starting Monday and continuing through Jan. 22.
Those hours will be 8:30 a.m. to noon. Drop boxes will be available after those hours.
Documents that are date-stamped prior to 4 p.m. each day will be filed that date. Meanwhile, temporary restraining orders will continue to be issued from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. by notifying security staff of the filing. Court staff will be available to issue orders.
The new case-management system is expected to improve access to court records; the temporary hours are to provide time for the courthouse staff to be trained on how to use the system.
