Local chefs compete to be the best at weekend competition

The Taste Buds Best Chef Competition, in the style of cooking show “Chopped,” was part of the Home, Garden and Gourmet Expo at the Paso Robles Event Center on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017

Chef Nicola Allegretta of Mistura in Paso Robles won the People’s Choice award, while chef Chris Beckett of Fish Gaucho in Paso Robles took the Judges’ Choice title.
