Carina Corral returning to KSBY as evening anchor
Former KSBY anchor Carina Corral will return to the station to co-anchor KSBY evening news beginning Jan. 19.
Corral will co-anchor the 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts with Dan Shadwell, according to a news release. She will replace Jeanette Trompeter, who announced her departure from KSBY in September.
Trompeter will continue to anchor the 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts until Corral assumes all four evening newscasts alongside Shadwell in March.
Corral has been morning news anchor at KSEE-TV, the NBC affiliate in Fresno, for the past four years. Corral previously spent nine years at KSBY as both a reporter and morning news anchor.
