Chemlogics, based in North County, is purchased by Belgian company

Paso Robles-based Chemlogics, which traces its roots to Chemron Corp. founded by Cal Poly graduate and Paso Robles resident William Frost and chemist Eugene Miller in 1977, has been sold to Solvay for $1.3 billion in cash, the Belgium company said Monday.
