Sports Authority opens Saturday
Sports Authority will celebrate the grand opening of its new store with an 8 a.m. opening Saturday at the Madonna Plaza Shopping Center in San Luis Obispo.
As part of the grand opening, the 23,000-square-foot sporting goods store will award the first 250 customers “mystery bucks” ranging from $5 to $500 in value, a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree and hourly $100 cash drawings. Customers will also have the opportunity to register for items signed by top athletes, such as a basketball signed by Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin and a baseball autographed by San Francisco Giants pitcher Brian Wilson.
Regular store hours will be 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
