Chicago to play concert in Paso Robles this summer
Classic rock band Chicago will bring its signature horns-driven sound back to the Central Coast this summer.
The Grammy Award-winning group will perform June 29 at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles. The band last played the venue in 2014, three years after it took the stage at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles in 2011.
Chicago saw a steady stream of hits during its heyday in the 1970s and ’80s, including “If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” and “Saturday in the Park.” The band, which remains one of the most successful rock groups of all time, will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.
Tickets for Chicago’s June 29 concert cost $42 to $92, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster locations.
Vina Robles Amphitheatre is at Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery, 3800 Mill Road. For information, call 227-4812 or visit www.vinaroblesamphitheatre.com.
