Matisyahu to perform concert at SLO's Fremont Theatre

Reggae rapper Matisyahu will return to the Central Coast this fall.

The Grammy Award-nominated artist, who blends Orthodox Jewish themes with elements of hip-hop, reggae and rock, will perform Nov. 10 at the Fremont Theatre in San Luis Obispo.

Matisyahu is no stranger to San Luis Obispo County, having performed at the Pozo Saloon in 2009 and Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles in 2014.

He’s touring in support of his upcoming album “Live at Stubb’s III: A 10-Year Journey,” which will be released Oct. 2.

Tickets for Matisyahu’s Nov. 10 concert are $30, or $25 for students, and go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday at all Vallitix outlets.
