Three San Luis Obispo Blues were selected to compete in the California Collegiate League All-Star Game on Wednesday night at the MLB Urban Youth Academy in Compton.

Third baseman Harrison Bragg (Mississippi State), left-handed pitcher Parker Mushinski (Texas Tech) and right-handed pitcher Matt Walker (UCLA) were among the 54 players chosen by CCL head coaches to participate in a game that will be nationally televised by Fox Sports West.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Bragg has played 12 games with the Blues, and he is hitting .184 in 38 at-bats. Three of his seven hits have been doubles, and he’s scored seven times with three more driven in.

Mushinski came to San Luis Obispo late following Texas Tech’s run to the College World Series. He has allowed one hit and one run in four relief appearances, with 14 strikeouts in seven innings on the mound.

Walker has been the leader of the staff to this point, and he paces the Blues in starts (four) and innings (20 1/3). Walker also has 14 strikeouts and four walks to his credit with a 2.66 ERA.
