WATCH: Colorado Rockies rookie Trevor Story makes history with four HRs in first three games
Trevor Story is having quite the three-day stretch.
The rookie shortstop hit his fourth home run in three games on Wednesday in the Colorado Rockies’ 4-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks, giving him the most home runs in the first three games to start a career since 1900, according to Elias.
"It's pretty unbelievable, kind of hard to put into words," Story said, as reported by the Denver Post. "I'm just trying to square balls up and hit it hard. It's kind of a bizarre thing right now."

Story had two home runs on Opening Day off Arizona’s Zack Greinke – the most in a Major League debut – and is batting .286 with four home runs and seven RBI.
The 23-year-old wasn’t even guaranteed a spot on the big-league roster, playing his way into a starting role this season by hitting six spring training home runs with four-time All-Star Jose Reyes on leave for a pending domestic violence charge.
