Toronto Blue Jays’ Troy Tulowitzki just can’t let go of old glove
Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzi has gone to great lengths to keep his old glove. Depending on the source, the five-time All-Star has had his current glove for five to eight years, but for the second time in as many games, the glove failed him.

On Monday, a ball was caught in the webbing of the glove, but Tulowitzi stuck with it for Tuesday’s game.
It came back to bite him when diving for a Logan Forsythe single in the first inning (a play he could have perhaps made with newer equipment), only this time the glove didn’t make it.

However, after emergency surgery by the team’s equipment manager, the glove was returned to the dugout and will no doubt be used until it’s completely unrepairable.
That's Tulo's glove. Photo is from last year, so it's probably a bit more beat up now. pic.twitter.com/cAfbaMI5HH
