San Luis Obispo girls soccer team to host first-round state playoff game
The San Luis Obispo High girls soccer team has only one loss this season, albeit a painful, controversial 2-1 loss to Yorba Linda in the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 semifinals last week .
Now, the Tigers can forget all about it. They have a bigger prize to play for — a state title.
San Luis Obispo (25-1-1) will host a CIF-Southern California Regional Division 3 first-round playoff game Tuesday, when Liberty comes to town for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
The Hawks (20-4-2) won the CIF-Central Section Division 3 title with a 2-1 victory over East Bakersfield on Feb. 26.
