Prep swimming: San Luis Obispo boys and girls beat Morro Bay

The San Luis Obispo High boys team beat Morro Bay 193-77 and the girls won 206-101 on Tuesday. Galen Penvenne won the 200 meter in 2 minutes, 7.75 seconds and the 100 meter butterfly in 58.31 to lead the Tigers. Mark Erbstoesser also recorded a pair of wins for San Luis Obispo, winning the 200 meter freestyle in 1:53.89 and the 500 meter freestyle in 5:13.13.

On the girls side, Anna Petersen won both the 200 meter freestyle (2:04.66) and the 100 meter backstroke (1:05.40). Tyra Popovich won the 100 meter freestyle in 57.45 and the 50 meter freestyle in 26.34 for San Luis Obispo, who hosts Righetti on Friday.
