Nipomo High swim team swept at Righetti

The Nipomo High swim team was swept at Righetti on Monday in its dual meet opener.

The boys team lost 182-104. Peyton Kiunke got the Titans’ only win of the meet, taking first in the 50-yard freestyle in 23.33 seconds.

Nolan Santala was second in the 200 individual medley in 2:14.83, and Tyler Melsheimer was second in the 200 free in 1:56.18.

The girls lost 205-69. Anika Smith took second place in the 500 free in 6:16.07, and third in the 200 free in 2:16.29.
