Prep girls basketball: Mission Prep rallies to beat SLO High

The Mission Prep girls basketball team rallied from a 16-point deficit at the half to win 43-38 against San Luis Obispo on Friday.

Noelle Laird had nine points, and Jennifer Laird added eight for Mission Prep (17-8, 11-3 PAC 8).

The Tigers limited the Royals to just eight first-half points and led 24-8 at the half.

Megan Stoudenmire had 12 points, and Lily Svetich had 11 in the loss for San Luis Obispo (12-13, 5-9).

The Tigers will make the playoffs with an at-large playoff bid and will play on Thursday.
