Prep boys soccer: SLO High clinches Pac 8 title with 8-1 win
The San Luis Obispo boys soccer team clinched the PAC 8 title on Friday with a 8-1 victory over Mission Prep.
Keith McCarty and Amondo Garza each had a pair of goals, and four others scored for the Tigers.
The title is the second in three years for the Tigers (17-3-3, 11-1-2 PAC 8).
“(It is) a big moment for our boys,” coach James Boscaro said.
San Luis Obispo earns a first round bye and will begin CIF play next Friday.
