Prep boys soccer: Mission Prep beats Righetti 1-0

The Mission Prep boys soccer team earned its first league win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Righetti on Wednesday.

Seve Sarmiento scored the lone goal and was assisted by Isaac Rutiz.

The Royals (3-18, 1-12) host PAC 8 leading San Luis Obispo on Friday.

The Eagles scored a goal in each half to top the Greyhounds.

Connor Setting had the goal for Atascadero, which came after Destin Ybarra drew a penalty.

Carson Setting had six saves for the Greyhounds (12-10-1,4-8-1 PAC 8), who wrap up their season against Pioneer Valley on Friday.
