Prep girls water polo: A.G. defeats Atascadero, Paso Robles in Pac 8 tourney

The Arroyo Grande High girls water polo team won a pair of matches at the PAC 8 Tournament on Tuesday — 18-2 over Atascadero and 14-2 over Paso Robles to advance to the league championship.

Sarah Parson recorded seven goals on the day, and Arden Taylor added five more.

Ten different players scored for the Eagles over the two games.

Emily Sonny had 16 saves in goal.

Arroyo Grande will play Thursday for the championship at 6 p.m. at Righetti.
