The Nipomo High girls soccer team scored three first-half goals en route to a 3-1 victory over Santa Maria on Tuesday.
Santa Maria scored first, but the Titans answered:
Devan Matthews scored on a penalty in the 18th, followed by a Jenna Lane goal, which was assisted by Bella Albano.
The final goal was scored by Tatiana Silva.
Julisa Soto had four saves in goal for Nipomo (14-6-1, 10-3-0 Los Padres League), which has a shot of tying Santa Ynez for first place atop the LPL standings if it wins out.
The Titans host Lompoc on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the last game of the regular season.
