Boys basketball: Coast Union beats Valley Christian Academy 44-29

The Coast Union boys basketball team remained undefeated in the Coast Valley League, recording a 44-29 victory over Valley Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Jez Lawson scored 15 points, and Auggie Johnson had nine for the Broncos (12-9, 8-0), who relied on a 14-5 run in the third quarter to put the game away.

Coast Union takes on Maricopa on Friday.
