Boys wrestling: Morro Bay victorious over Cabrillo, Santa Ynez

The Morro Bay High boys wrestling team won both meets in its last duel of the season on Wednesday, 58-24 against Cabrillo and 45-36 against Santa Ynez.

Tre Dennis had two pins over the two meets at 106 pounds, and Nate Jones (120) had a pin against Santa Ynez.

Cyrus Ardekani (138) added another pin against Santa Ynez.

Joe Morris, the fourth-place finisher at the CIT Tournament last week, beat Adam Tolson 8-4 at 126 pounds.

Tolson is now 25-3 on the year, and the Pirates finish the season with a 7-3 record.

The Los Padres League Finals will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10 at Lompoc, followed by the CIF Individual Tournament the following weekend.
