Prep girls basketball roundup: Nipomo, Templeton drop LPL games

Abbey Gutierrez scored a team high 17 points as the Nipomo High girls basketball team fell to Cabrillo 58-40 on Thursday night in Lompoc.

Vanessa Davis added 12 points for the Titans.

Nipomo falls to 9-11 and 5-3 in Los Padres League play.

Julia Aurignac scored 19 points in the Eagles’ defeat.

Templeton (7-9, 3-5 LPL) hosts Lompoc on Tuesday.
