SLO High boys soccer team shuts out Bakersfield
The San Luis Obispo High boys soccer team shut out Bakersfield 4-0 on Saturday behind a dual effort from goalkeepers Benji Alonso and Alvaro Ciriaco.
Noa Tomaszewski and Cole Broome-Hanvey scored first-half goals for SLO High (6-2-1), with Keith McCarty and Emmitt Fox-Pendergrast assisting on the first and second goals, repsectively.
In the second half, Branden Dolezal found the back of the net, with Logan Axberg assisting. The game’s fourth goal was scored by Fox-Pendergrast, with help from McCarty on the assist.
SLO High begins league play Wednesday at Paso Robles.
