San Luis Obispo High girls soccer team shuts out Selma

The San Luis Obispo High girls soccer team shut out Selma 2-0 in a nonleague match Saturday in San Luis Obispo.

Ari Maza scored the opening goal in the first half, off a Jen Basich-Pease assist.

Isabel Mendoza scored an unassisted goal in the second half.

Goalkeeper Islee Sohner made one save for the Tigers (6-0-0).

San Luis Obispo plays next on Friday at the Garces Tournament, in the Elite Girls Division.
