Prep boys basketball roundup: Morro Bay wins game at Calistoga tournament

Spencer Cecil scored 17 points and had eight rebounds in Morro Bay’s 71-54 win over Summerfield on Friday at the Gene Duffy Tournament at Calistoga High.

Marjoe Delacruz had 14 points and nine assists, and Tyler Chivens added 11 points and seven rebounds.

Ten different players scored for the Pirates.

Laguna Blanca 44, Coast Union 32

Auggie Johnson had nine points, and Jez Lawson and Sam Mackinnon each had seven points for the Broncos at the Villanova Tournament.

Coast Union will play for third place on Friday at 12:30 p.m.

Garces 38, Paso Robles 29

The Bearcats (3-3) lost a game during the second day of play at the North High Shootout in Bakersfield.
