Mission Prep Christmas Classic basketball tournament bracket released
The brackets were released Wednesday for the 17th annual Mission Prep Christmas Classic.
Hosted by Mission Prep, the 16-team tournament will feature teams from across California and beyond. In the past, NBA players including James Harden, Ty Lawson, Ryan Anderson and Jeremy Lin have competed in the five-day event.
This year’s teams include:
- Bellarmine Prep (Washington)
- Beverly Hills
- Bishop Montgomery
- Centennial
- Cypress Bay (Florida)
- Dorsey
- Fremont (Los Angeles)
- Immanuel
- Jesuit
- Mission Prep
- San Ramon Valley
- Serra (Gardena)
- St. Joseph (Santa Maria)
- Troy
- Windsor
- Winward
Jesuit (No. 12) and Bishop Montgomery (No. 20) are the top-ranked teams in the field, according to MaxPreps.com. Beverly Hills features Ron Artest III, son of Los Angles Lakers forward Metta World Peace.
