Prep girls water polo roundup: San Luis Obispo beats Nipomo 11-1

The San Luis Obispo girl water polo team got its fourth win of the season Tuesday with an 11-1 win over Nipomo.

Addie Foster, Campbell Warren and Mikayla Faccinto each scored three goals in the match for San Luis Obispo (4-3).

Goalie Rachel Lovato held the Titans scoreless in the first half and notched five saves.

The Tigers travel to Cabrillo on Thursday.

Paso Robles 17, Morro Bay 2

Miranda Pasky scored a game-high five goals to lead the Bearcats past the visiting Pirates.

Lauren Root and Veronica Ayala added three goals apiece for Paso Robles, which improved to 5-2 overall heading into next Tuesday’s match against Arroyo Grande.

Makenna Pugh scored twice and goalkeeper Kelsey Lewis made 11 saves in the victory.

Both of Morro Bay’s goals were scored by Victoria White.
