Paso Robles High wrestling team has five medalists at San Marino tournament

The Paso Robles High School wrestling team had five wrestlers medal at the 20-team tournament held at San Marino High School.

Blake Irish won the championship in the heavyweight class, and John Cabrall was the champion at 220 pounds.

Nathan Gear was third at 152, Case England fourth (152) and Kris Sanchez was sixth (145).

Paso Robles was sixth overall as a team. Poway won the tournament.

The Bearcats also sent another team to the Pete Duca Invitational at Nipomo.

Max Perez was fourth at 106 pounds, and Juan Camacho was fourth in the heavyweight class.
