Three county football teams will host first-round CIF-Southern Section divisional playoff games, while another three learned they will play on the road after the Southern Section released its playoff pairings Sunday.

Arroyo Grande High (9-1, 4-0 PAC 5) earned the No. 2 overall seed in the Northern Division and will host Royal in a first-round game Friday. The Eagles are the PAC 5 champions, while Royal (4-6, 0-3 Camino League) received an at-large bid. A win would pit Arroyo Grande against the Antelope Valley-Carpinteria winner in the second round.

Camarillo (10-0, 3-0 Camino League), the only team to beat Arroyo Grande this season, earned the division’s No. 1 seed and will host at-large recipient Highland.

Atascadero (8-2, 3-1 PAC 5), the PAC 5 runner up, will also host a first-round game Friday, drawing Los Padres League runner up St. Joseph (8-2, 3-1 LPL). If Atascadero wins, they would get Camarillo in the second round.

Paso Robles (5-5, 2-2 PAC 5) received an at-large bid and will travel to LPL champion Lompoc (9-1, 4-0 LPL) on Friday. The winner of that game gets the winner of the Thousand Oaks-Eastside game in the second round.

In the Northwest Division, Mission Prep (8-2, 4-0 Northern League), the Northern League champion, will host a first-round matchup Friday against Aquinas (6-4, 3-2 Ambassador League), which received an at-large bid.

With a win, the Royals would face the winner of the Bishop Montgomery-Maranatha game in the second round.

Nipomo (5-5, 3-1 Northern League), the Northern League runner up, will go on the road to play Prep League champion Rio Hondo (6-3, 3-0 Prep League) on Friday, and Templeton (6-4, 2-2) received an at-large bid and will travel to Valley Christian of Cerritos (8-2, 4-0 Olympic League), the Olympic League champion.

Templeton and Nipomo are in the same half of the bracket, and should they win their first two playoff games, would face each other in the Northwest Division semifinals on Nov. 27.
