Coast Union High girls tennis team wins season finale

The Coast Union High girls tennis team closed out its season on a four-game winning streak, downing Templeton 10-8 at home Monday.

Maddie May won 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, and the No. 1 doubles team of Rebeca Tavera and Lindey Ortiz won two of three, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4, for the Broncos (4-10).

“A great ending to a fun year,” head coach Ron Ruggles said.
