Coast Union High football team wins third in a row

The Coast Union high football team rolled to its third win in a row, beating Maricopa 45-24 on the road Friday night.

Broncos quarterback Jack MacKinnon completed 8 of 15 passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns, a 22-yard score to Roberto Quintero and a 10-yard pass to Alexis Mireles.

MacKinnon also had a 5-yard run for a touchdown, and returned an interception 35 yards for a score for Coast Union (3-5, 3-0 Coast Valley League).

Alam Ramirez ran for 198 yards and two touchdowns, a 40-yarder and a score from 9 yards out. He also returned a kickoff 50 yards for a touchdown.
