Nipomo High boys cross country team finishes second at Mt. SAC Invitational
The Nipomo High School boys cross country team took second place out of 28 teams in the Division 4&5 race at the Mt. SAC Invitational on Friday in Walnut.
Joe Gocke ran the 3-mile course in 16 minutes and 56 seconds to finish 11th overall for the Titans. Rogelio Flores was 15th in 17:02, and Josue Navarro was 18th in 17:09.
Also, Garrett Morgan was 44th in 17:54, Raul Angeles was 53rd in 18:14 and Luis Zamudio was 132nd in 19:53.
Also in Division 4&5, Nipomo’s Mackenzie Wisneski won the girls sophomore race in 19:49, and Devin Diaz won the boys freshman race in 17:31.
