Former Cal Poly, Arroyo Grande tennis standout Dome earns first pro tennis title

Former Cal Poly and Arroyo Grande High standout Andre Dome won his first professional championship Sunday, when he took him the title at the Thailand F2 Futures Championship on the Chang ITF Pro Circuit in Bangkok.

The 2013 All-American won five matches over a seven-day span in the 32-man field, defeating 17-year-old Akira Santillan of Japan 6-4, 6-7 (7), 6-1, in the final.

Dome is now competing in the Thailand F3 Futures tournament, which began Monday.
