Morro Bay's boys golf team loses to Santa Ynez

The Morro Bay High boys golf team fell to Santa Ynez 229-254 on Monday at Morro Bay Golf Course.

Tanner Shean of Santa Ynez was the medalist, carding a 41.

Noah Martinez and Byron Scott both shot 47 for the Pirates, and Rayce Francis and Garrett Holdstock added 51s.



Nipomo falls to Lompoc in boys golf

The Nipomo boys golf team was edged by Lompoc 224-226.

Lompoc’s Ryan Hale was the medalist, shooting a 39.

Adam Burrola carded a 40, and Gavin Westbrook shot 43 for the Titans (5-3, 4-2 Los Padres League).
