Three to be inducted into Paso Robles High hall of fame

Henry Beiden, Jason Botts and Joe Zeno will be inducted to Paso Robles High’s Athletic Hall of Fame at halftime of the Bearcats' football game against Pioneer Valley on Friday night at 7.



Beiden was the head football, cross country, basketball, baseball and track and field coach from 1934 to 1944. He led the Bearcats to five CIF Southern Section cross country championships and one county championship in both football and basketball.



Botts was a first-team all-league performer in both basketball and baseball for Paso Robles, earning Tribune County Player of the Year and MVP honors in baseball for the 1997-1998 season.



Zeno won five league championships and two CIF championships during his stint as head football coach from 1972 to 1978.
