Update: Ben Ruvalcaba, of Nipomo, won this poll with 278 votes, or 33%; followed by Teagan Campbell, of Paso Robles, with 146 votes, or 17%; Blayne Lowry, of Nipomo, had 120 votes, or about 14%, of the vote as well, coming in third.
Original story: The regular season is nearing a close, and we have 23 athletes to pick from in our poll for the best player in Week 9 in San Luis Obispo County high school football.
Junior Herlihy of Arroyo Grande won last week’s poll with 3,211 votes, or 65%; followed by John Myers of Morro Bay with 1,021 votes, or 21%; and Isaiah Hernandez of San Luis Obispo with 258, or about 5%.
