Choose from 16 high school athletes from San Luis Obispo County boys and girls winter sports teams for The Tribune’s Jan. 30-Feb. 5 top player poll.
Last week, Arroyo Grande High girls’ basketball player Brooklyn Waldram took the top spot with 5,602 votes, earning 46% of the tally. Oneal Hunt, an Arroyo Grande girls’ soccer player, took second place with 4,132 votes, or 34%. And Helayna Arreola, of Nipomo High girls’ soccer, was third with 1,020 votes, or 8%.
This is a fun, unscientific poll, and you may vote as many times as you wish to support your selection for The Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.
The poll closes at midnight on Friday. To vote again, hit refresh.
Coaches, parents or students may nominate an athlete for next week’s prep poll consideration by emailing nwilson@thetribunenews.com and providing game stats for your nominee (full player name and stats). Please write “Athlete of the Week nominee” in the subject line.
Have fun voting, share the poll with friends and good luck!
