Central Coast all-league basketball rosters named. Here are SLO County’s honorees

The results of the Central Caost boys and girls all-league basketball teams have been announced.

The Central Coast Athletic Association recently released the list of student-athlete honorees that features standouts from San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties.

Those from SLO County named to the lists — which recognize outstanding play — are the following:

Ocean League Boys

Defensive Player of the Year: Christian Merrill (Morro Bay)

First team: Cy Isaacs (San Luis Obispo); Camden Steeb (Morro Bay)

Second team: John Raj (SLO); Jaden Pooler (SLO); Evan Black (Morro Bay); Nicky Frangie (Templeton)

Honorable mention: Nolan Attala (SLO); Jake Falat (Morro Bay); Kyle Asplund (Templeton)

Ocean League Girls

MVP: Jade McRae (Morro Bay)

Defensive Player of the Year: Emily Horzen (Mission Prep)

First team: Sophie Graves (Morro Bay); Kristielyn Biado (Morro Bay); Magic Woodbury (Morro Bay); Carys Villani (San Luis Obispo); Mary Marsalek (Mission Prep); Lillie Parish (Mission Prep); Emma Boehm (Mission Prep)
