All-league teams named for SLO County high school football. Here’s who made the cut

The all-league honors for high school football have been released, with several San Luis Obispo County players earning high honors for their standout play during the fall 2021 season.

Coaches from the Mountain and Ocean leagues nominate players, who are then selected based on the number of votes they receive.

In the Mountain League this year, Arroyo Grande senior Makai Puga was selected the most valuable player, and in the Ocean League, Mission Prep Jack Susank took the MVP award.

Arroyo Grande and Paso Robles shared recognition for winning the most league games in the Mountain League at 4-1 ,and Mission Prep went an undefeated 5-0 in Ocean League play.

Here’s the breakdown of the San Luis Obispo County players selected as part of the Central Coast recognition.

Note: Players from Santa Barbara County schools who made the list aren’t mentioned here.
