Sophomore Gage Gomez hits nine 3s, scores 38 points in Arroyo Grande win
As a freshman for the Arroyo Grande High School boys basketball team last season, Gage Gomez showed he light it up when he hit his first six 3-point shots in a game against Atascadero.
On Thursday night he did it again.
The sophomore hit his first six 3-pointers against Frontier and went on to score 38 points and lead the Eagles to a win. Gomez ended up with nine 3s in the game and scored as many points as the entire Frontier team in a 78-38 Arroyo Grande win.
