Cuesta baseball collects 17 hits in rout of Allan Hancock
The Cuesta baseball team beat Allan Hancock 12-3 at home Tuesday, tallying 17 hits on the day.
Designated hitter Tanner Bos hit his second home run of the season and went 3 for 3 with three runs and two RBI, and first baseman Hunter Reade had three hits and two RBI. Three other Cougars had multi-hit games.
Kyle Von tillow, Ryan Pienado and Nick Rutckyj each had doubles, and Nick Burnham legged out a triple.
Louis Raymond pitched seven innings, allowing only four hits and three unearned runs and improved to a team-leading 5-2 on the year.
The Cougars (16-9, 9-4) remain in the first place in the Western State Conference.
