Uskali’s sharp outing leads Cuesta College baseball to 4-1 win against Oxnard
Freshman right-hander Neil Uskali struck out six batters over seven strong innings to help the Cuesta College baseball team secure a 4-1 victory over Oxnard in a Western State Conference matchup Tuesday afternoon at Cuesta Field.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Uskali improved to 3-1 on the year. He scattered six hits and allowed one unearned run in the victory.
Third baseman Josh Medina went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and scored once.
Designated hitter Tanner Bos also finished the game 2-for-3, driving in two runs and scoring another.
Cuesta improved to 11-8 overall and 5-4 against conference opponents heading into Thursday’s game at Oxnard.
